kamba Beaded Apron Kenya

Kamba beaded apron with  geometric triangle pattern in bold red and white colour . Loops of copper chain have been sewn to the lowe edge of the apron to form a fringe. East African one cent coins have been threaded onto the loops of the chain to complete the design.  The aprons were worn with other beaded costumes for the full regalia. Its made of seed beads, fibre, copper, and copper coins.  Early 20th century
