Zulu Meat Platter South Africa

Traditional carved wood platter (Ugqoko native name) from the zulu tribe of South Africa.  A prestige ornament  that is used for  ceremonial occasions.  The meat platter has dark patina with visible signs of usage. Geometric triangle patterns depicted on the back.  Early 20th century, measurements are  L47 cm x W 8 cm
